dc.description.abstractABSTRACT This study aims to examine Hu Jintaos foreign policy towards Zimbabwe. In arranging this thesis, the author uses historical, descriptive, and qualitative method. The author executes library research systematically to collect information through several literature, namely books, journals, documents, mass media, data base, internet, and other studies that considered relevance to the object research. As the cornerstone of the analysis, the author uses constructivist perspective. Chinas foreign policy towards Zimbabwe manifested within the framework of Strategic Partnership was a logical consequence of state intersubjectivity factors and identity transformation. Chinas peaceful rise social identity defines states interests for cooperation and in its turn foreign politics as relevance instrument of Chinas foreign policy.
