dc.description.abstractIndonesia and Malaysia are located in the neighboring countries of South East Asia. Both have a history of diplomatic relations are very dynamic, despite the allied diplomacy between the two is applied. Many agreements that occur between the two countries, there are many conflicts of interest that occur between the two. This thesis will explore issues of tension development of bilateral relations between Indonesia and Malaysia in the range of 2002 to 2008. In the span of the year happened problems with intensity relatively frequently between Indonesia and Malaysia, where all of it was related to conflicts of interest; which include border issues, illegal logging, labor, and social culture. The problem that often occurs between Indonesia and Malaysia that lead to various reactions that are so hard and volatile for the people of Indonesia, especially at the grassroots. The range of reactions is a form of appreciation for the action taken by Malaysia to Indonesia.
