| dc.description.abstract | Abstract This research while such by a desire to know and described the dynamics power of kyai in the democratization process localized election. Then the problems emerging is why kyai sepuh`s power pondok pesantren banyuanyar and bata-bata decline in the Pamekasan election 2013. Kyai was a informal leader to have a role in large in society , especially in the muslim communities that causes kyai`s actions as a role model the community. All his way always give affect the behavior of the people around .This cannot be separated from their existence as an heir him and charismatic figures. As charismatic figures they are very well-respected and respected and have an large enough in society. The mention of the term kyai for the Pamekasan variegated depends on at the level of and its effect in social community. The feature in the field of islam and has surau ( langger ), islamic or mosque as a teaching and learning activity called keyaeh ( kyai ). Who has santri and pondok boarding as a teaching and learning status and Established position, are the mother and references to the public and other pesantren called kyai sepuh. Kyai sepuh pesantren banyuanyar and bata-bata have a role in large in the political process in the kabupaten Pamekasan. Political choice political the community Pamekasan always facing on two olds pesantren. Often kyai sepuh both this pesantren dominated victory in the political process (Pemilu or Pilkada) elections, each candidate he supported always been a winner in the election. However , 2013 Pamekasan election show different fact, habitus happened and changes in personal doxa pamekasan community. Large role in kyai sepuh political domain as if lost of the power, candidates he backed losing in the election. Change of habitus and doxa was caused by the bout discourse causing firstly the Pamekasan no longer dominated by force and kyai sepuh`s political power and no longer have, will support for that whoever and performed the kyai. Secondly the Pamekasan society have a choice itself as a political courage in protest policy and political leadership of kyai previous are getting a highlights and criticism in policies and his conduct only affiliate to power and money. Kyai sepuh`s support and choice to candidates in the 2013 Pemekaasan election to lack of attention and support of the caused by several factors first Discourse to actions the candidates kyai sepuh supported that causes political stagnation. Second stagnation cause elektabilitas candidates supported by kyai sepuh in politics decline.Third the decline in elektabilitas political the kyai cause defeat the candidates that supported.
