| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT RS Dr. Sardjito known as public hospitals have a service that is private. The private service to make a profit so that the operating costs of the hospital can be fulfilled to the maximum. Therefore Hospital Dr. Sardjito need to market their services in order to profit, and than oriented private good can be met. The purpose of this study is to get an overview of the implementation of the marketing strategy and marketing communications conducted by Dr. RS Sardjito in marketing private good oriented service. Of these objectives, researchers examined several aspects of segmentation, targeting, and posit ioning to the implementation of marketing communication channels conducted by Dr. RS Sardjito. Researchers used descriptive research through qualitative approach with case study method. Researchers want to get the depth of the communication strategy study conducted by Dr. RS Sardjito and prove the phenomenon that fit between existing theory to the real conditions that exist in the field. RS Dr. Sardjito runs a marketing communications strategy to compete with private hospitals in the provision of private services. RS Dr. Sardjito want to change the image in the community who know RS Dr. Sardjito only service providers used to be a hospital that also private service providers. RS Dr. Sardjito hope of patients using private serviceability in private hospitals moved using the existing private service at RS Dr. Sardjito.
