| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT This study was conducted to assess the agent and the structures involved in the development of small and medium industries in Krebet batik woodcraft . There are many agents of change who have a variety of capital in performing the role and importance to the development of small and mediumsized industrial wood craft of batik . Agent - the agent is a local agent as great craftsmen, small craftsmen, artists, politicians , youth leaders, and women. Agents are cooperating in the development of industries such as government, Sanata Dharma University in Yogyakarta, the ruler, the exporter ( third party ), and PT Telkom Yogyakarta. Agents of change have capital at their disposal so that they can carry out a strategy to establish relationships with other agents as well as structures to dominance in the development of wooden batik handicraft industry in Krebet . The idea of the emergence of the industry , agents of change , and how to build a network of agents in the development of SMEs in the hamlet of wooden crafts batik Krebet is what will be studied in the Political SMEs. Shifting trade system that is identical to the elite and centralized provide opportunities for agents for the development of SMEs and breadth of networks in the industrial development of small and medium-sized wooden craft of batik . Besides the study of small and medium industries , is also interesting menggigat this sector has an important role since 1980. Various populist policies and Klaten Parliament elections as a forum for economic and social development of society . Various programs small industries had launched many government, private and companies , until now this sector in Krebet been able to become the foundation of small and medium-sized industrial artisans to improve their welfare . However, there are a variety of programs and networks controlled by dominant agents in Krebet . To analyze the problem, researchers used theoretical perspective Antoni Giddens about the agency and structure . Referring Giddens opinion , the way they work agency and structure in wood craft batik SME development can be understood as an agent relationships and structures that gave rise to the new structure . Soemarjan Selo perspective of an agent of change , occurs in Krebet IKM change agents who have a role in the development of SMEs . This study was conducted in the hamlet Krebet , Sendangsari Village , Sub Displays, Bantul . This study uses a phenomenological approach . The results showed that the development of wooden batik handicraft industry in the hamlet Krebet awakened by an agent who has the capital. Each agent has the same goal of the development of SMEs in Krebet, but on the other hand there are agents who are looking for power as well as artists in person. In the development of small and medium industries are controlled by strongman domination. Other agents have given a positive value for society in the form of the value of the arts and crafts industry support and the art culture in Krebet support as the Tourism Village. While the agency has done strongman domination, the people there will be security compliance values, economic necessity, is able to develop a discourse - discourse, as well as a trusted family values high. Dominance strongman able to build a network which is useful in the regeneration of the existing pattern in the hamlet Krebet. The dominant agency (strongman) finally succeeded in utilizing the mass community support-related Krebet village in Bantul regency PILKADA and expand the network bisisnya. Moreover pattern capable of regeneration efforts hereditary with family and strengthen his power. Dominance is not only the economic capital, symbolic, cultural and social capital but transactional politics to strengthen the development of SMEs in the hamlet of wooden craft batik Krebet.
