| dc.description.abstract | OSCE Insights: Leveraging a Broad Mandate 50 years after the signing of the Helsinki Final Act; Russia’s war against Ukraine continues to challenge the OSCE as a vital pillar of European security. However; the papers in this volume of OSCE Insights demonstrate how the OSCE; including the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly; has used its broad mandate to run activities even in the absence of cooperative security. Contributions discuss topics such as the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's experience in counter-terrorism; the OSCE's efforts to mitigate the risks of climate change; and conflict management options in Ukraine. | |
