The iMac Reservation Guide: Important Procedures to Follow
Yogyakarta, August 12, 2026 —The iMac Reservation Service at Digilib FISIPOL UGM is provided to support students and members of the academic community in accessing computer facilities for their academic needs. To ensure an orderly service and maintain the security and condition of the equipment, users are expected to follow the procedures outlined below.
Before Using the iMac
Before using an iMac, users must make a reservation through the Digilib Reservation menu. Select iMac Reservation, then choose the preferred date, iMac computer number, and available time session.
After completing the reservation, make sure to save the reservation confirmation as proof of booking.
Please note that users must verify their reservation with a librarian or library staff member before using the iMac.
Collecting the iMac Accessories
After presenting the reservation confirmation, please proceed to the Front Office or Room 3.1 to meet with a librarian or library staff member.
Our staff will:
Verify the reservation confirmation.
Provide the mouse and keyboard corresponding to the reserved iMac computer number.
This procedure helps ensure the security and completeness of the equipment provided to each user.
While Using the iMac
During the reservation session, users are expected to:
Use the iMac according to the computer number specified in the reservation.
Use the mouse and keyboard assigned to the corresponding iMac computer.
Handle all equipment properly and responsibly.
Please ensure that the equipment remains in good condition throughout the session.
After Using the iMac
After completing your session, please follow these procedures:
Turn off the power switches on the mouse and keyboard.
Return the mouse and keyboard to the designated box according to the iMac computer number.
Returning the equipment properly helps ensure that all accessories are complete and ready for the next user.
Maintaining DIGILIB Facilities
Users are expected to follow the iMac Reservation procedures to help maintain the proper condition, security, and completeness of the equipment. Proper use and return of the equipment help ensure that the iMac Reservation Service remains available and accessible to the academic community.
The iMac Reservation Service is aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, supporting access to computer facilities and digital resources for academic purposes.
To access the Digilib website, all FISIPOL UGM students can log in using their OSS FISIPOL UGM account and select “Akses Digilib.” After accessing Digilib, users can make an iMac reservation through the Digilib Reservation menu. Alternatively, the reservation service can be accessed directly through ugm.id/digilibrsv.
