Abstract The fall of the New Order regime in 1998 opened the door for democracy in Indonesia, one indicator there is freedom of expression and freedom of association and assembly. The opportunity to fill this democratization is not passed by the workers who became one of the victims of taming and repression of the New Order. Post-New Order, began popping up a lot of unions are also political party workers. However, the rise of the labor movement after the New Order is not to make all the trade union movement and resistance running smoothly. There is a thriving trade unions, but some are not growing. One is the trade unions that are not growing are at the local level, namely the Federation Cross-Factory Labour PT. Delta Merlin Clothing Textiles I (FBLP PT. DMST I) Sragen. FBLP PT. DMST I Sragen is an organization under the auspices of FBLP Jakarta, but in contrast to FBLP Jakarta that precisely the existence and growing movement, FBLP PT. DMST I Sragen has decreased or weakened. In doing this research, researches use ethnographic research method. This method emphasis on the exploration of the basic nature of a social phenomena. In this exploratory study conducted to understand of why FBLP PT. DMST I Sragen weakned. For this study, researcher used a social movement theory and the theory of hegemony. Social movement theory is used to learn about the organization and theory of hegemony is used to asses the process of weakning that occurs in FBLP PT. DMST I Sragen. FBLP PT. DMST I Sragen has decreased both in terms of the quality of its activities and the number of members. Even until this research is done, FBLP PT. DMST I Sragen experiencing difficulties in managing their tutntuan to the Industrial Relations Court, because of the limitations of the data and files of the workers. From the findings in the field, FBLP PT. DMST I Sragen is weakened by the company, the attenuation is done in two ways namely domination and hegemony. Dominance is done by providing repressive measures for workers who do action and are also involved in the membership FBLP PT. DMST I Sragen. The repressive measures carried out by the police by carrying out repressive action when workers do the demo as well as via third parties (thugs) that gives the threats against the workers. While hegemony is done through three areas, namely the economy, the State and civil society. NIIR hegemony process works consciously and become part of everyday lifestyle. Merupakaan ideology apparatus of hegemony of the most advanced tools to keep themselves in power, melestarikam dominant class structure and perpetuate oppression. In this case, the ideological apparatus, among others: civil society, the state and other companies that are in Sragen. This ideology apparatus mengusahaakan wherever possible so that values, culture and ideology was believed by the whole class or group of both the ruling class and the ruled.
