Abstraction The relationship between political parties and youth is need each other. Political party needs youth as a regeneration proccess and also as mass collector in our society. Likewise with youth who need political party as expression intrument and also to improve their political career in the future. So there are some youth who participate into political world joined the party. They try to build and develop their life trajectory by joined the political party. That circumstances also happen in Malang, where there are two big parties like PDI-P and PKB which have many young member. This research presents naratives background some youth who was joined into PDI-P and PKB. I also try to see strategies which youth used when legislative election 2014. There is another aspect that youth in political party are under domination of elite whose older than them. So, this research also want to see about symbolic violance on youth by the elder or political party elites. Using qualitative method with biographical approach, this research try to explore and study about naration from young people who joined PDI-P and also PKB. With this method, I also try to watch and explore this phenomenon from the strucuture and agent simultaneously, especially how youth and their environment around them. This research have 8 key informants to explore use Bourdieu concept about social practice. From the data that I obtained from the informants, i have got some narrative strategy that is different to survive or reach a position in the PDI-P and PKB. Narrative datas which described by informants analyzed using the concept of capital, habitus, and field to watch and explore their strategy during the 2014 legislative elections. In addition to seeing the youth strategies used in the PDI-P and PKB, I also obtained data that there is a symbolic power of an elite cadre and senior which dominant on party. The position of young people is relatively low, and thats making them just being a subordinat who is empowered to collect the party vote. The Youth have experienced symbolic violence in the middle of their desires and strategies to stay afloat at the same time, strengthened their position in the party, both PDI-P and PKB.
