Analisis Komponen Pembentuk Audience Connectedness (Studi Deskriptif Pada Radio Komunitas Marsinah FM Jakarta)
Abstract
ABSTRACT This research is one of the elaboration from audience research, which is the audience connectedness development concept. In this research, the concept of audience connectedness elaborated by doing identification towards the shaper components of audience connectedness on community radio. Doing the audience connectedness concept identification in community radio needs identification of audiences needs concept in using media and community interest. The efforts to do the concept identification is the researcher adopting theory of uses and gratification, that elaborated next by doing a test into the factor analysis to know the component that shaped from the question items that submitted. There are known eight component of the result from the factor analysis that shaped, but based on the requirement to do the analysis, there are only six components that can continue to be analyzed. The six component that shaped form the result of factor analysis including the component that give the voice for the interest, requirement component of social needs, requirement component of self identity, requirement component of transfer, requirement component of knowledge and requirement component of enviroment condition monitoring. From those six components, known that the levels of shaper component intensity of audience connectedness on community radio Marsinah FM. That levels of component intensity is used to know which component that become the highest audience connectedness shaper on Marsinah FM community radio. The component that has the highest level of intensity is the requirement of knowledge, with average score 3,285. The second component is requirement comboent of enviroment condition monitoring and has average score 3,018. On the third level there is requirement there is requirement component of interest with average score 2,965. On the fifth level, the shaper component of audience connectedness on Marsinah FM community radio is requirement component of self identity and the average score is 2,825. Meanwhile, the shaper component of audience connectedness in Marsinah FM radio that has the lowest intensity level is requirement component of social need, with average score 2,781.
